The Problem
A local loss assessor contacted us after a rental property suffered fire damage to the first floor. The fire was caused by a faulty tumble dryer, and unfortunately created extensive damage to the upstairs rear bedroom, the bathroom next to it, the landing, and in the roof space.
The Solution
After we won the tender, we made substantial renovations. We started by stripping, re-felting and re-slating the roof, then moved on to repairing the first floor ceiling joists.
The first floor ceiling was completely destroyed. We replaced the windows and front door for uPVC material which is customizable and the best in terms of durability and safety.
Both the upstairs and downstairs were fully redecorated with an elegant laminate flooring to the hallway entrance.
