Slade Lane Neighbourhood Centre was one of our first-ever projects and was a referral from Arthur Doodson Insurance brokers, now known as Integro.
Following a break-in at the community centre the manager, Pat Coleman, was struggling to find a company that would quote for the work that needed doing.
Challenge
The project needed different work doing, across various trades including joinery, plastering, glazing and redecorations.
But because it was only a small job with little bits for each trade, tradesmen wouldn’t even turn up to take a look at it, never mind providing a quote!
How we helped
The community centre was well used by the local community and the team worked hard to provide a good service to its visitors, so we at Action Insurance Repair were happy to help.
We provided a quote across all the trades – and because we already had excellent contacts at this point, everyone was pleased to be a part of it.
Where we are now
We ended up repairing the property twice more over the following years, as it was sadly often targeted by thieves and vandals.
